the luigi case (leicatime) half case came in the mail today, along with a wrist strap.
i had planned to use the wrist strap on the cl but could not bring myself to cut off the small leather protector patch. it's not needed to protect the case and is meant to protect a camera.
so, i swapped the mclassic on the zi for the leicatime strap. oh so very nice.
now i have the 2 cl cams each with a half case and mclassic wrist strap.
i have the cv 21 and the cv 40/1.4 on separate bodies. the 90 will stay home most of the time or ride in the bag, under the film.
why shallow?
cause i just really love the look of this set up. and the feel of the leather cases and i like wide lenses. and i like the luigi strap on the zi, feels luxurious.
it's just too good and i like it too much.
i'm gonna pay for this euphoria...:(

Whenever I feel stressed I fire up my 1975 Hodaka and ride a few cow trails for an hour. Enjoyment, yes.

I do what I'm going to do now: walk around town at night. If my boyfriend knew I was doing this he'd probably kick my arse good. He hates it when I walk around town at night alone.

Smile while you're here. There is only one now.

Besides, if you come up with any printable keepers, he'll find out soon enough...

Thank you, Barrett. Was it something like a Moto Morini?

I haven't gone yet and it's getting past midnight. This is what he hates. I go walking until two or so in the morning and then come home and develop film until 4 or 5.

Oh, no...what I would've given for a a Morini, 'specially a 3-1/2 ("That's right, mister...this ain't no 350, it's a three-and-a-half!"). No, it was a Premier 125, an understandably-unsung brand. Was the one miserable part of my 1976 summer.

I took the walk and came back with a roll of film gone and a beer in my stomach...life is good.

I intend to go when I get back to Edmonton but that will be later this week. Let me know when you're there through a message or something and I'll reply if I can make it then.

It's not shallow...you're just enjoying your set up. Isn't that what RFF is for - enjoying your rangefinder with fellow RF users? Sadly, there are non-RF users who don't understand little "shallow" perks that RFF users enjoy... apart from leather cases, take Leica Sightings for example...:D
