View Full Version : Short photo essay on Weegee
I came across this (http://www.cbc.ca/arts/photoessay/weegee/index.html) short photo essay on Weegee this morning. Just in case you're interested...
Interesting! I remember when the photography magazines would to articles about him. He would have been an interesting man to know.

Thank you!
I first read Weegee's People when I browsed the photography books in the high school library years ago. His photos are very real life, earthy, and even at that time quite nostalgic.
One of my off-again on-again intents is to try to shoot (I have three specific events in mind) emulating the style of Weegee using the equipment I have. I haven't shot B&W in years, and I avoid flash, but I do want to try this.
Weegee's World is another great collection and should be easy to find.
