Nikon FA Case on G2?

I've read somewhere (can't remember where) that the the bottom of a Nikon FA leather case will fit a G2. Does anyone know if this works, and if so, where I might find one to buy?

There is one on ebay right now, search for "CF-30"

It fits a Hexar RF, and I know a Hexar RF fits inside a G2 case... I have a G2 and a CF-30.... let me check tonight before this starts to sound like one of those damn logic puzzles. :)

Not to confuse the issue, but one nice thing I discovered is that the Canon P fits perfectly in the Konica Hexar RF OEM leather ER case. Looks very nice in it, too.

So I suppose the G2 would fit too. Harder to find and costs more than the nikon's, but the leather is so smooth. :)

Last one I bought came from Australia. :)

It (the G2) will fit in the CF-30.

The Hexar RF fits in it pretty well, with just a slight gap between the body and the case in the front.

The Contax G2 fits in it, just a little snug... slight gap along the back of the camera.

fyi, notice how nice the Hexar RF fits in a G2 case... the thumb cutout is great, and the bottom screw and the film door window line up perfectly. There is a slight gap in the front (because the Hexar RF does not have as thick a grip)

Wow ray_g...thanks for the tip about the Konica RF half case fitting a Canon P...any others that you know about?

Coz I'd like to get a brown half case for my P.
