Hi,
I was wondering how I can test the lens/RF adjustement on a zorki 1 body, as it's a hard back.

With my fed-2, for instance, it's easy to throw away (not too far) the back, place a ground glass in the focal plane in place of the film, screw the body on a tripod, an check any distance and RF accuracy to real image forming while posing B. Quite easy.

But the zorki 1 ????

Hallo Fabrice - all you need to know is here: http://jay.fedka.com/, thanks to our friend Zorkikat. But first, see if there's a problem! Having checked the rangefinder and lens conform at infinity and close focus, simply take some photographs showing a target at a measured 1M, 2M and infinity, wide open.

Cheers, Ian

what you can do is taking downloading the RF checking chart here (http://www.ragarecords.com/photo/index.html) : follow "kiev/contax" then "focusing test" and download the focus test target.
it's all explained on the page.
Have fun with your camera,
