I did a search yesterday, there were quite a few Canon 35/2.8 lenses offered on ebay David.
Sounds like you are close to complete now with your Canon Kit Joe. What's next?

Joe Needs a REALLY FAST LENS for that Canon 7. No Canon lens set is complete without a lens that is faster than anything that Leica ever made...

Of course you mean the Helios 50/0.9 that came as a prototype with the second generation Kiev 5, attached to the outer bayonet of the proper Cook & Perkins adapter, isn't it ? ;)

Using prototypes and adapters would be cheating. And if I were to cheat, I would use my 42mm F0.75 Heligon.
