mounting lenses on tight M mount

Ever since I got this M mount camera, it takes a lot more force to mount and unmount lenses. Can this be adjusted/rectified? (It's not he lenses because they fit normally on my other m mount bodies.)

Frank what kind of camera is it? Was it used? If it was used it may have been dropped. Try to loosen the screws on the mount and then retighten them going a little at a time until they are snug but not tight. This might alleviate the problem.
