Been a bit curious about the 50mm hector, but haven`t found much info about it, except it`s not rated as a good one at least not for shooting, and also that the lens is named after a dog.

A bit more, anyone ?

And if someone have photos to show taken with it , that would be just perfect.

Else the idea of a screw mont leica sounds more and more tempting, not sure thats a good thing . .
And it has to be a black one ;)

When I put the M next to a FSU Leica II clone, there's one thing that really stands out.. The compactness of the latter.. If you're after portability, such an LTM is hard to beat..

The price of the Hektor 50/2.5 is set by rarity, not quality.

It was hard to manufacture, and the quality of them was inconsistent.

Your are better off with a Summar or Summitar.

Thanks.

So as I understands it, the lens is not worth looking for, except if itīs bundled with a camera and itīs cheap . .
Sounds like there might bee a summitar in the future ..
