I've found a Bessa R2 on ebay for just over $200 US in Near mint.

We all (mostly) buy and sell off eBay. I think this camera is being sold by one of our members so you should feel comfortable bidding on it. :)

Also keep in mind that the price could go up quite a bit before the auction closes. It's likely to happen in the final 5 seconds of the auction. It's termed "sniping" and has become almost SOP.

And the reserve price hasn't been met yet. I've seen R2's go for ALMOST the price of a brand-new R3a.

Yes, its one of the RFF members here. Namely me :) You can feel very comfortable with the cameras visual and working condition. It truely is near mint and works perfectly. I'm only selling because I ordered the R3a for its AE, metered manual, and 1:1 finder.

The price will go up, especially in the last hour of the aution. If its anything like the others I've seen, I would expect it sell around $425 or so based on its condition and the fact that new ones are no longer easy to find, if found at all.
