I just ran across this accidently and it as of this time only has about 4 hours to go. I have no idea what it is for, but some Leica users might, and might want one. Good luck if you do.

BTW, even if nobody wants it, does anybody know what it is for?

Something to gouge out your eye, or chop off your nose? Looks pretty dangerous to me. :)

Definitely some kind of RF gizmo for older (screw-mount) cameras. Dunno what it's for, though...

Well, eb*y is full of it today. This surely is a must have for the rangefinder addict.

I Believe: This is part of a close-up device for the Leica screw mount cameras. I think it is missing some parts. The idea is that you mount the camera on the device, focus through-the-lens, then slide the camera into place. It is like a "speed-o-copy", which I have for the Contax/Nikon RF's.

For members interested in knowing what these bizarre accessories did, pick up a copy of the Leica Manual by Morgan and lester.

Brian's nailed it.

It's called a Focoslide, and it's missing the magnifier. It's for copying documents. It allowed you to focus on a ground glass screen through the taking lens, then slide the mounted camera over the taking lens to make the exposure.
