You know as I look closer at my photos, I am realizing that there is definitely light fall off at all apertures. Its not vignetting, its like there is a circle in the middle that is more exposed while each side is darker with it concaving?? Does anybody have that problem?

It's there, but I don't find it a problem, usually I try to incorporate this effect into the picture, it works pretty well.

Not always though.

This is quite commonwith the Xpan when shooting at lower light levels. There is a center filter available which evens out the exposure.

Actually, it is vignetting. It is natural vignetting due to the cosine 4th law. It is the nature of the beast. And yes, everyone has the "problem." A center filter can help. It can also be corrected in the darkroom or with Photoshop.

I just looked at your gallery.

I would rush out immediately and spend $278 on the center filter.

As i work for a photographic display company, I see lots of pro wedding and landscape photographers spending hours on the computer adding this 'fall off' affect to a large percentage of their shots, but with the xpan you get it for free! :D

Personally, I like this effect but it doesn`t work for every shot.
