Don't get fooled by my user name - I also like Contax G cameras, and I like the G lenses even more.
Are there any adapters for these great lenses at all? Something to fit a Biogon, Sonnar etc. to any other rangefinder body?
There is rebuilding them to LTM. From there to M. Costs $550 a lens though...
Wait a couple of weeks and get the new CZ lenses in M-Mount :-)

@Socke: yes, but they are very expensive. You get used G lenses in perfect condition for very little money...

I have a G2 with three lenses and I'll keep it although I'm longing for a digital rangefinder.
As has been mentioned here, conversion costs around $550 per lens. And I'm unsure how well a conversion from AF to RF coupled manual focus works out.
Hopefully I can resist the temptation and wait for the next digital RF.
The tax return, some savings and no vacation next year are enough for an Epson R-D1 with 21mm and 35mm CV lenses ......
But on the other hand, shooting a G2 and TVS in Cuba was a lot of fun, scanning the slides isn't so ....
But then, I spent close to 200 Euro on film and processing last month .....
No! I've got to be strong and resist!
How are they focused after the conversion? Anyone have a link to a site that describes the conversion?
The optical elements are placed in new LTM or M focus mounts. If you read Japanese (I don't, so don't ask for a translation!):
