View Full Version : Could be very dangerous....
Just got a newsletter from Mainline, the Aus Voigtlander distributers..... They have the R3-A and the 40mm Nokton in stock!!! I know where I'm going lunchtime tomorrow!

Tiim, I hear you about the danger! Firm resolve is the order of the day... ;)
Say, look at those framelines for the 40mm; pretty close to the outer edge of the viewfinder?

MMmmmm and the prices look nice too.. Now how can I pay for one, my c/card is already on life support ;)
Damn Damn Damn......shipment delayed until Thursday or Friday. And I was all ready with the R2 and the M6 for comparison. Oh well, it'll have to wait a couple of days.
Apparently the first batch is pretty well pre sold, the few that are left are still at the "Introductory" price (AUD$995, same as the outgoing R2) but I think the implication is that the next batch will go up?
Mainline also are hoping to get the VC-II meter in the same shipment, so I should be able to get a look at one of them too.

Thanks Tim - now I am even more tempted :bang:
I think I want the R2A more though - I have an M3 now, and realy want something with 35mm framelines!
That price is tempting, but I will need to wait until new year.
