#12526 hood on collapsible summicron?

Rectangular hoods are supposed to be better, and it's not like hoods haven't been specified for both focal lengths before (e.g. #12585). Anyone know if the #12526 for 35/2 ASPH fits and is effective on a collapsible Summicron?
