View Full Version : R2 to case or not to case
My new(used) R2 has no case or strap.
Do you have your Bessa __ in a regular case made for it or something different?
What about straps? Any recommened? I use my strap as the usual shoulder strap for quick lift and shoot. I DO NOT use it as a neck strap, so I am looking for something that is smooth accross the clothes...
Thanks all!
I have a case for my Bessa R, and usually have the bottom part on it (to protect it from bumps & scratches), but rarely use the top part; still looking for a nice wrist strap solution, though...

I use a Domke Gripper strap. I also have a CV ever ready case. If I am not going to have the camera in a bag I put it in the case, at least the bottom half.
I carry my R2 in a small camera bag. When I'm using it I take it out of the bag and use its wrist strap (Op Tech). The bag also holds extra lenses, film, and even my Palm Pilot and folding keyboard so I can jot notes when I pop into a coffee shop after a photo shoot. It all fits into a smallish, well-padded Lowepro Nova 2 bag that I wear courier style.

Paper & pen is good ... but only if you can read your own handwriting (which I can't) :D
