My Zorki 4K has a bit of a light leak problem. Reading old posts, it would appear that this is an issue related to the shutter curtains rather than leaks around the back.

Is this something I can adjust? If so, how?

hi, i have same problem with my Z4, and now it's collectiong dust on shelf... :(

i supose that this is related with shutter curtain tension, maybe unwinding and rewinding with lubrication will help, but i always used my equipment as is, and never tryed repairing on my own... :bang:

did you solved it?

Actually that looks exactly like the leak my Zorki 4 had when I got it. It turned out to be leaking through the self-timer lever hole. There is a light baffle that wraps around the timer mechanism, but it does not go flush with the inside front of the camera body behind the take up spool.

I fixed it by running a strip of black electrical tape down the gap behind the take up spool

Actually I just swapped it for a Zorki 4, which is what I decided I liked better anyway.

From what I learned, it sounded like a shutter curtain issue. There were a few frames without the leak and I seem to remember winding the camera with the lens cap on.
