I seem to be the king of accidental discharges.. and no, I'm not speaking about a dysfunction of a personal nature.. I mean taking photos accidentally.. but once in a while I get one that I actually like.. anybody else?

this one was taken with my 'new' CL/40 setup

.. anybody else?

I got quite some missfires, especially with the leica, but none do look as good as yours Brett. Besides I'm too lazy to even scan my good photos, much less the bad apples and mussfires.
But should be interesting none the less.

This is gonna be a tough one. I usually don't scan my "accidentaly discharges." The one camera that generated the most "AD's" was my Olympus XA. That shutter is just too delicate and hairtrigger! I'll look and see what I've got.

Slightly off-topic: I've taken several very unflattering self-portraits of myself looking down at the upturned camera to see if the shutter is working.

LOL.. you actually have me laughing out loud, Frank.. mostly because I've done the same thing with my Minox many times

That would make a funny series of photos! :)

Or calendar.

I have a nice round image from an unextended I-22 (Elmar clone). Nice bokeh too :)

Like so? One from the streets of San Diego

that one doesn't look accidental to me.. it's way too good.. I think we'll need a judge's ruling on this one!

LOL, Thanks but the truth is I was trying to hide the camera from the guy in the white T shirt who zeroed right in on my camera. I was trying to grab a hipshot of the couple on the right.

Ok, one more from last year in Escondido. It happened after reloading my Bessa R.

My friend Howard and I had been walking for exercise along the riverfront trail, during which I finished a roll in my Bronica RF645. As we settled into his clapped-out Subaru for the drive home I reloaded the camera, accidentally snapping this shot...

Frank - a suggestion: don't take up shooting firearms. :p
