I just bought a collapsible summicron and a IIIa. I paid 100€ each, thats an amazing bargain! The digital madness is not bad for everyone :D
I will post some pics of my new picture taking machine! Oh yeah, it is a yellow summicron according to the distinctive tint in the glass. I'm sure that specialists here will tell me if it is a yellow cron. I believe that 100€ for a rare cron is a nice bargain!
Hey Hey :)
Welcome aboard !!
Start shooting some film with that lovely camera and lens :) I'm sure you'll be pleased with the results!
Cheers
Dave

I had a new in the box one sent to me once with the yellow brown color. It went back.
Try standing it in the sun for a week to see if you can get it to clear.
I don't know if I want to get rid of the tint! I heard here that an old 50yo cron would likely get more haze if I give it a sunbath.
And the radioactive yellow tint is in my opinion a vintage feature I like a lot as I plan to shoot some BW film/slide
On the other hand, I'm considering getting the front element for polishing and MC in Ukraine, but I don't know if it is worth it. I like the summar a lot, and if I can have some of the glow with the vintage cron I would be glad.
I just received a leitz SBOOI 50mm finder, its a very very nice finder! And I just pay 50€ for it. It is mint with one little speck in the chrome. NICE BARGAIN again!
