When I got my Leica III (F) a few months ago I took it out on a hike with a friend and it may have been the first roll I put through the camera.

All photos were taken with an uncoated Elmar 50/3.5 lens from 1934 and the film was Tri-X 400.

I really like the 50/3.5 Elmar but have yet to warm up to its bigger brother the 90/4 in the same way.

Looks good Rich. The Leica.III's size etc. would seem to make it a welcome choice in the backpack. Certainly no lack of performance in these examples. All look good and I especially like the falls and last photo of the tree tunk.

Really like the waterfall Rich. Is this at the Marin Headlands?

Thanks Jim.
It's at Carson Falls near San Anselmo up in Marin county.

This makes me want an Elmar even more. Great shots.
