Series 6 Adapter for Summitar?

I found one of these at the local camera show today. I already have a series 6 hood and filter so I'm set. The seller also had a series 6 adapter for a Summarit and in 39mm for $8 each. Tom shows up at the local show here in the bay area. He just helped me do the same thing with my summitar. The adapter + yellow, green, dark yellow and red filters ran me $32... awesome deal and everything in great shape!

Are these screw-in adapters or are they push-on? I currently use a 41mm push-on with Series 6 filters and hood on my Summitar.

It's a screw on adapter made by Tiffen and are no longer made. I believe he had another one available. I never knew a screw on adapter existed for a Summitar.
