I started the week with good intentions, I really did: the little Ricoh never left my side....but a combination of long shifts at work (leaving and coming home in the dark) and dismal weather thwarted my plans.
So: when today turned out sunny and brrrrright, I grabbed my €4 as-yet-untried goodwill Polaroid Spirit (the 680 would have been cheating, I supposed) and some expired 779 film and managed to point and shoot at least something before the sun went down and the week officially ended...

I like them especially 2,3 and 4, In 2 I like how the pier points to whatever is in the lake making one want to run down and jump in. In three I like how the garbage bag is the same color as the window. 4 because I just like lake scenes. well done Lynn

Thanks. I usually find photos of live bands more interesting if you can see the crowd. If it's just a guy playing guitar you're only getting half the experience! :)

Ok, here are mine. All taken with a Canon AF35ML and Fuji Superia 400. We had a small ice storm so I tried the camera. The AF is good but sometimes it locks on the wrong thing and you don't know it. But when it does right it is very sharp, same lens as the QL19, but the motor drive is louddddddddddddd
The one of the tree face lookks like tears

and two more. The on of the grand mother and grandson, i was out for my walk and they were bouncing a golf ball in the road. If you look up at the top you can see it. The other I call primary colors.

just a couple of low-res scans from the lab. too lazy to fire up the scanner right now :D
most shots on this roll have this ominous look for some reason.

Heh. The cameras weren't a what-have-i-done-now investment, but that film: eeek.

Oh, I know...Polaroid film has become MURDER on the pocket book...it's why I'm staying away from them. If I could find or fashion a 120 back for one it would be different...but the entire point is to use the instant film.

And BTW...I'm scanning more Lex35 shots. I'm loving this camera. Seriously. The thing is just...wow. Lomorific.

This shot was taken with a Fuji Natura Black P&S camera. Its 24mm lens is very sharp.

Vivitar pn2011. I got it at goodwill for a quarter but it's pretty good! I'm going to try some fast b&w soon. I think the 2011 stands for 20mm lens and f11. Shutter speed might be 1/100th of so. Film was expired provia 100f. The black borders are the panorama mask.

Testing an old Minolta Himatic AF I found under a desk, scanned at low res. I was surprised to get anything :)

First roll of film through my new Konica Lexio 70: 28mm setting; some noticeable distortion...I'm spoiled by both my Hexar's 28mm and Ricoh GR1 in this regard. Close enough for rock n' roll, though (especially for fifty bucks, boxed). Fuji Superia Xtra 400.

Exactly. Sometimes a little distortion is a-okay (or is A-O-Let's go!) :D. I agree, not too shabby for the price.
