I just bought five 100 ft rolls of Kodak Portra NC film at the cost of $9.99 each. The film is not even expired! It seems that buying film has also become less expensive than in the past, or is this just a fluke?

For some reason ebay is always flooded with Portra NC bulk rolls. But deals like that aren't too out of the ordinary. I got 200' of TXT for $25 shipped. 200' of Astia for...I think $35 shipped. etc.

I am happy about the deal I got. I have been looking for specials on Kodak Portra or Fuji NPS 35mm film. The only excellent deals are for 100 rolls at about $125. I paid $60 shipped for 400ft of Portra film.

Thanks for the HU, Raid!

About availability... it comes and goes in waves... there was a time when you could get the Ilford SFX for pennies, so abundant it was on the *bay. Then came the glut of TMax 3200. Now? Fuji 160.

I'm glad to find Kodachrome stuff. Except for Provia ISO 400, the yellow box still fills my needs.

I will travel to China for 7-9 days in June, and I am already preparing for the trip by having good film ready and also have the right equipment for the trip.
