I can't find any info on here or google on this scanner, other than it's really old. What might be a good price for onw of them? I may have an opportunity to buy 2 of them...and am waivering whether or not to buy something just to get by for now, or continue to save and do it right the first time...
opinions?

These scanners were first introduced in 1990 I think so they could be about 15 years old. Apparently they had a max resolution of 4140ppi which is quite amazing for the time. I have no idea about dynamic range or even whether the scanner software will work with current operating systems. May be a serial connection also which would be very slow. I honestly wouldn't pay more than about a tenner each for them. It would be an interesting buy as a curiosity but if I were you I'd save up and buy something like a used LS-50.
