Fed 3 question

What was the "standard" lens for the Fed 3? I am bidding on this camera (http://cgi.ebay.com/FED-3-Russian-Rangfinder-w-Industar-26-lens-Red_W0QQitemZ7584120834QQcategoryZ15234QQrdZ1QQcmd ZViewItem). Just wondered if anybody had any confirmation on the lens and such. He says it is a Fed 3, but when I consulted Cameraquest.com's camera profiles, the only Fed 3 with a lever film advance is the Fed 3 L. Thanks.

As far as I know the first FED3's had the Ind-26m lens (what you have) and the later models had the Ind-61 and the last of them the Ind-61 L/D

The FED3 are broken down into two versions, the FED3a has a knurled knob style winder and the later and more common FED3b has the thumb lever winder (what you have).

Edit: I've added a picture of both of the early "a" types, the one on the left is the first "a" and in the later "a" the logo was changed to the dual type, the speed selector is a little different as well. (note: The right camera has a Jupiter 8 lens, these were never standard on FED cameras.)

I have a Fed 3b with the lever wind and I-61 lens which I like very much. I've been looking at the Fed 3a's for a while now, and just might spend some of my 'Ralph bucks" (little Alberta joke) on one in the near future.

I did read somewhere that both the I-61 and I-61 L/D lenses have lanthanum in the lens elements, but they just didn't indicate it on the early ones.
