View Full Version : Zorki shutter problem
I got a Zorki 4K in the mail today from Yuri at Fedka. Right out of the box the shutter would not advance. Sometimes the shutter "catches" for a second and the shutter starts to move forward, but then it just falls back into the uncocked position (I hope that description makes sense). Is this what happens to the shutter when somoene changes speeds without cocking the shutter first, or does this sound like a different problem? Is there any easy fix to this or do I just need to send it back? I'm pretty annoyed because this was a replacement for the last Zorki I got from Fedka that had a broken film rewind.

Hi Kyle,
Try this link http://rick_oleson.tripod.com/index-58.html. The most likely cause is something jammed in the gears at the botton. The "bit" for this is at the bottom of the link.
