View Full Version : Bargain???
Hi! I have just come across a FED 5V at a flea market for ca $13 Everything seems to work fine, and the camera is in mint condition with no scratches, dings or fungus. The lens is an Industar 61 f2,8 53mm and it works smoothly and seems to be free of any scratches. Fortunately I knew that I had to crank it before I tried to change the shutterspeed dial, so I didnīt make that common mistake. Anything else you experienced users can advise me not to do or do, or any other tips or tricks concerning this camera model?
Best regards

$13 CA? That's what... one Starbucks triple venti white chocolate mocha in US dollars?
Go for it.

Maybe my english needs some polishing? I BOUGHT it immediately of course! And I payed 100 swedish kronor - itīs about $13 in us dollars. Itīs lying here beside me on the table right now and Iīm really happy about it since Iīve had a tough day at work today and this brightened up my life to some extent.

Good for you. That's a good price for a fun toy. Enjoy!

Bravo,
When I get a new FSU camera I do a quick test of the shutter speeds to make sure nothing is sticking, play with the rangefinder to see if it is not grossly out of adjustment and then run a test roll through it to see if it has any light leaks or other problems.
Have Fun!
