Looks great! I like square for portraits. I should try some b&w in mine. (The problem is I don't have 6x6 holders for my scanner so I scan three times and paste toghether in photoshop...)

hither ~ So... are you, like.... surrounded by beautiful models ALL the time?
Todd ~ nothing like a skateboard thrown in the mix to get rid of the "not-so-enthused" expression! :D
Good shots all, guys. Really good.
(You're not really helping us non-MFers control our GAS :/ )

Indeed, and your shot is a ringer!
They can have my Iskra when they pry it from my cold, dead hands.

What scanner are you using? I use an Epson 3170.

Mine are handheld, pretty easy to do with leaf shuters.
Craig, those are great portraits!

Todd, thanks. You have a fine eye as well.

Canon 4200F... Hope to get an Epson someday. Preferably something with better sharpness for 35 mm than what I have today as well.

The lens on Iskra will distort as you get close. Moskva is much better in this regard. The front cell element moves like a modern float element to mnimize distortion.
Distortion? No, his toe is really as big as his nose! Actually, doesn't everything distort close up?
I love the out of focus background with the Iskra, by the way.

Maybe we should start a show us a picture from your Iskra thread.
Here's a contribution, a winter scene along the Hudson, with maybe a little Russian ambiance.
I shall have to try taking a portrait with it soon. Great camera.

And the Moskva suffers film-flatness and bad-struts issues that the Iskra will NEVER suffer.
Pick yer battles.

Thank you Todd. I bougth this wonderful camera after seeing your photos (and Taffer´s) taken with it.
Great shot Iñaki ! You just broke the 'folders are no good for action' myth yourself !
Gracias Taffer. I know it could sound incredible, but it was my second photo of the 1º roll. :D Probably the beginners luck.
