Nope that won't work. She was there also and spent more that I did.
God be wi' ye then, me son. :)
BTW: So, what were the "damages" this time? So long as you're not now fighting with the cat over the food bowl you're probably okay ;)

But Value Village buys its merchandise from thrift stores and charities, so in actuality you're helping widows and orphans and homeless people every time you buy a camera.
God bless your selflessness ;)

The problems with finding camera "deals" from 2nd hand places like Value Village here in Vancouver are:
1) employees get 1st dips (plus they receive a discount )
2) certain camera collectors/dealers who have an "in" (or an arrangement) get 2nd dips
3) the junk that nobody wants is all that's left (for you and me and little Johnny up the street).

Sounds like your Value Village is a lot better than ours. Here they've had a Miranda Sensorex with three lenses for over 4 months. Trouble is they started the price at $350 Can. After 4 months they're down to $150. Maybe I can sell them all 4 of mine. Used to be able to buy good cameras cheap at the Salvation Army, but now if it takes film it goes in their auction case and the local crazies bid 3 or 4 times the price of Ebay. Even St. Vincent de Paul store wanted $5 for an Ansco Pixie plastic 127 film camera. I give up. Every mother's son decides to bid on all the cameras I used to get by bottom feeding at the last minute. Now I see parts cameras minus lens go for more than the functional ones with lens I bought last year. If this lunacy doesn't end pretty soon I won't be able to snipe anything at all for cheap. On the bright side, I should be able to unload about 400 parts cameras, cheapies and oddball format cameras and still be able to break even with what I've invested over the years. Ok, now how many want to bid on oodles of 110, 126, 127, Kodak Instant, or Polaroid folding cameras? LOL, that's what I thought, I'm stuck with 'em.
Who needs some outdated 110 film and an inexplicable kitchen gadget?

Hay Poptart you need some 110 cameras for your film? There are tons of them in Goodwill. Oh The tower cost me 14.99 plus tax.

Half the time I go into Value Village I am looking a stuff I donated to the Diabetic society the week before. " Hay wife ( name withheld due to threats) we had one just like this."
