I just happened to look at Ilford's web-site and they seem to have 2 films that I have not seen before: "Pan 100" and "Pan 400" (http://www.ilford.com/html/us_english/bw.html).

Anyone had any experience with these?

I used Pan 400 in Mexico this past summer. I believe it is the same as HP5+.

I don't think Pan 400 is HP5. Ilford's offered them for some years, but they're mostly a 3rd world thing, I think; certainly I've never seen anyone offering them around here.

Well I used HP5+ here in the states and Pan 400 in Mexico over the summer. To me they look like the same film.

From the information on ilfords web site they look almost identical, shame there's no wavelength/sensitivity chart for the pan 400 to compare though. They do say that the Pan film are available on "selected markets".

I bought ten rolls of Ilford 400 two or three years ago, from Freestyle.
It sold for $1.00 less per roll than HP5+, but they never offered it again.

At that time I exchanged emails with Ilford USA regarding these films.
They did not import either and do not support it, but some information
was available on the Ilford website.

In use it is very much like HP5+, some say more like plain old HP5 maybe...
