I have a "Schneider Xenotar 135mm F3.5" lens on my Speed Graphic. Any chance the name is a typo? How about a link? If it is the Schneider, it is a 5-element lens and should be good.

BTW: Did you look at the shots with my Real Basket Case Canon 135mm F3.5? That lens is sharp, and you should find them cheap. But not as cheap as mine...

Just found it on EBay: That is ONE BEAUTIFUL LENS!! Could not read the name though. It is styled on the Nikkor line-up; looks like a late Nikon 13.5cm f3.5; but it is not! Ask the Seller if it says Schneider on it; I know they made LTM lenses.

That is the one: can't see enough of the front ring to get a name. I suspect a Typo. Google had nothing on the lens name.

i emailed the seller but the email bounced back as undeliverable.

Here is a shot with my DIY repaired lens. It is quite sharp for a 135mm lens. I had to calibrate the RF of the "Canonator" when I got home; realized the focus error when I was out. I was "guessing" a correction factor when focussing; but this shot looks "right-on".

sorry for not replying to your question before brian.
i did look at the shots from the 135 lens and was quite impressed. everytime i see an ad on ebay with a lens or camera that needs a tweak i think of you.

as far as this recent ad, i just wanted the body and was planning on selling the 2 lenses that came with it.
i'd have kept the meter i think although i have a non working meter now and it's doubtful i would ruin the lines of the camera by putting that meter on top.

Could be a Schneider Xenotar, I believe they made 'em in 135 LTM. But remember that was 'the' focal length to have back then, so ever buddy made 'em.

Actually, more probable that if it is a Schneider, it is a Tele-Xenar. Nice lens, if so.

Could also be a low-end "Lentar," which sounds similar.

I have several LTM 135's. My Kyoei looks like that, only without the chrome. The one you found is quite fetching.

Good luck ID'ing it - let us know what it is!
