So, you want a deadline?

I posted this in the other current thread, Part 2 instructions, but want to make it a separate announcement too.

Please have all of your information, photographs, tech data, descriptions and bios prepared and submitted by

DECEMBER 31, 2005

We are assuming that preparing the photographs and laying out the book will take up to 2 months to complete after that date so please be prompt in your actions and provide us with your contribution as soon as possible.

We have started to receive photographs and stuff already, which is great. Keep up the good work.

Ralph, maybe we should have Joe or Jorge post the book project as a news item, that way it'll stay on the front page (although this is good for my post count... :D).

I see submissions are coming in, that is a very good thing, thank you. :D

I have some PMs and emails to return, please bear with me, I may not get to them until this weekend.

Any guidance for how long the bio should be?

Also, is the "description" a caption for each photo or more of a paragraph explaining time, place etc.

I assume tech data includes camera, lens, film and, if known, f-stop etc.

Any advice you can provide will help.

I'm narrowing down my photo choices and hope to send everything to you soon.

Yes, I will confirm, but please keep the bio and description of the photos to 150 words or less.

The discription is up to you, it can be a caption or statement about the shot, keep the 150 word rule in mind.

Tech data, Camera, Lens, Film if known exposure, but we most likely will not use that so that all will be consistent for all photos.

Pics and caption/bio were sent in last week.

I never received an acknowledgment or receipt. Did they make it or should I re-submit?
