150,000 shutter cycles is amazing!!! I do not own one but soon will. How people then get to put 150,000 stutter cycles on there camera?

I am yearning for M7 now!!!

If you shot one 36-exposure roll a day (7 rolls a week), it would take you about 11 years 5 months to reach 150,000 cycles.

Now, if you were a pro shooting 14 rolls a week -- you would reach 150,000 in about five years 8 months.

Studio photographers can easily go several hundred clicks in a day's work. Sports photographers often go 1000 or more. This all now mainly DSLRs, however.

I always click carefully unless the motor drive's lookin' for action. :)

According to the techs the M shutter is capable of at least 500,000 clicks before there is noticeable wear on the parts, the M7 shutter is nearly identical to the rest except for the timing mechanism so it stands to reason it should have the same potential.
