Hi all-

I recently acquired an M6 (and as an aside, WOW:) ). I have a small group of LTM lenses that I had been using on Bessa R/L cameras w/o issue. I got a converter to use them on the new M6, and my 50mm works fine, but the 15mm will not meter. Is this a known thing? Could there be something wrong with my camera? The meter works with my 35mm M lens, and it appears to be accurate.

What happens is this:
I put the lens on
I take the lens cap off
I push down to activate the meter
I get: |> <| (the two arrows from the meter)
It only remains up for a fraction of a second.
Further presses of the shutter release do nothing.
If I push it to bulb, then back to anything, the tiny blink happens again.

Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance

(Let me know if there's anything I can add to this description to make it more clear)

Very strange. I was just using the same combo today and had no such problem. I would say have your M6 checked. I just had a CLA done on mine and it worked normally with the 15mm before and after, although after the CLA my exposures are much better due to the shutter speed calibration.

Cheers,
Rob

So I just tried it again, and it's metering perfectly now. I am wondering if this was just a major case of 'user error..' The issue occurred when I was a bit tense, and working fast, so maybe I did something dumb.

Thanks for your reply!
