Flash Synch

I have a Fed 5...but I can't read the directions as they are in Russian (I think as my Cyrillic is rusty). I need to know if the flash can synch at any speed or if there is a flash synch preferred 1/30 or 1/60th that I do not know about. Help appreciated.

I believe it is 1/30. (with longer exposures it will work as well, long time didn't touch this camera...)

That would make sense as the red speed is 1/30 set apart from the other speeds. So synch at 1/30 or slower speeds. Thanks to you both for the quick response.

has information on FED cameras, including the 5. It is not exactly an owner's manual but should give you any information you are looking for.
