When I see a BW pic from an xpro/x100 - are they shot in BW or color?
If it's shot in color, then chgd in photoShop - would it look very different than the one shot in BW (in-camera)?
If your intent was to have a BW pic, which would you choose?

choose colour capture so that you can work with the colour channels when converting to b&w. This is the best process for every digital camera.

the best answer is 'which would YOU choose'? try it both ways and see which you like best, as results vary from camera to camera. on the fuji x100 for example, i love the OOC b&w jpeg files, they are perfect to me as they are. on another camera, i might want to play around more...a matter of personal taste.

Is all the information there to equal bw film with for instance a yellow filter in coversion? There is enough contrast between say... clouds and sky in the RAW file to equal film and filters?
