I saw the so called "Road Map" although most of the future lenses are subject to change (with an */footnote next to them).

What lenses would you like to see from Fuji? Hopefully Fuji wants to know :D
I'm guessing third parties will likely get involved with lenses at some point as well.
It's difficult to imagine that SigmaTamron will produce anything as nice as has been offered by Fuji... for a price less than Fuji is already offering.

For my purposes I would love a fast Portrait prime to replace the Planar f2/100mm I currently use on my 5D.
A Fuji f1.4/70mm would effin rock!

I would like a 90mm (135) equivalent 1.4 - 2

I'm certain this wish will be unique to me, but I would love to see a 16-18-21 W.A.T.E. clone...

Whatever the focus length, I hope Fuji can release some lens with mechanical aperture and focus ring.

Or at the very least something like the M-Hexanon 21-35 dual. I've always dreamt of having one of those.

AF lens, of course.

The roadmap they announced is already quite ambitious for a fairly niche product. I doubt they can make a business case for Leica-style exotics (and we must remember Leica's lens portfolio was built over many, many years).

I'd love seeing a MF or LF Fujinon like the 105mm from the GF617 turned into a tilt-shift lens, but that would run counter to the rangefinder ethos of the X series.

I really want a fast 23mm. The x100 23mm is tiny, so they can afford to go down to at least to f1.8, but f1.4 would be even better. If it were still fairly small, this would really set the system apart from other systems.

Also a tiny/slow wide angle like a 12mm f4 which is sharp corner to corner.

I agree with Gavin, a 23mm f/1.4 would be lovely. A 60/70mm f/1.4 would be sweet as well.

I'd like a pancake like Pentax makes... hopefully the 28mm f/2.8 they are supposedly making will be that. Outside of that, a smaller 50mm equiv lens and a fast 35mm equiv.

another vote - pancake 23mm, fast 60

A wide, anywhere from 18-25 efov, that is small like the current 18 yet specified for corner-to-corner sharpness. Wide aperture not a concern.

A set of three compact lenses across a range of focal lengths each of which would be specified for small size and corner-to-corner sharpness rather than speed would be ideal (for travel/landscape).

The planned 14 or the 12-24 would be fine... and better than the hateful 28mm equivalent in the 18mm.

Has anyone figured out the maximum angle of view for the finder in 0.3x mode? It looks like almost 20mm in 24x36 terms. The camera doesn't seem to generate framelines for "other" lenses wider than 24mm (interestingly, it seems to be able to generate arbitrary lengths like 38mm) but that might be a firmware limitation.

All of this assumes I do not suffer a psychotic breakdown from the inability to process RAF files with Lightroom.

I´m still hoping for the 23mm being F1.4... :p

Not on the roadmap, but would really like a 90/2 too. :D

A 16 f2.8, 16-55 zoom, and 50 or 60 f1.2 or 1.4

2.8 normal zoom lens
or I'd also pay 3K for a 2.0 normal zoom lens

a really compact 23/1.4, as many others have said.
also, a 14/2 would be really awesome.

35mm and 21mm fov, i really like both.

I want a fast dual lens 35mm equivalent to 35/50mm, so with the crop factor,
would be a 23mm/34mm f2.0!! if they can do that, they can tell Leica to eat their shorts.

And, of course we need a fast 35mm/1.4 equivalent, as stated.

As long as they come out with a 23mm f1.4, I'll be happy.

Off topic. I don't want any lnew ens from Fuji. I want from Fuji digital, manual focus FF RF that will accept my M lenses (I am happy with what I have in M mount) and cost less than 2000$ :)

You and every other rangefinder fan that isn't opposed to digital. :)

23mm/2.0 or 1.4 - no pancake, no compromise on quality. Has to be lots better than the 18mm, which I think is one of the worst system lenses I've ever used.

Fast zooms.

Ditto. A fast (aperture & focus speed, too) 35mm equivalent would be nice.

Now that I have it with all three lenses, I think I'm good.

I just may buy a 23mm if it has a good maximum apperture, is small and focuses fast. And probably a stabilized telezoom or teleprime.

Do we have any idea how much the planned zooms (18-72 and 12-24) will weigh?
Any reason to think they would be over say 10 oz ?

I don't think anyone can answer this... and if they do, it will be a guess and not worth much. Why do they need to be below 10oz?

A lens that gives the same look as the Summitar.

Just want pancakes...in 21, 28, 35, 42, 50mm equivs. ;)
