Focussing Noticeably Worse After Update

This is a bit of an anomaly, but the focus performance on my X-Pro 1 is noticeably WORSE after the new firmware update. While playing with the autofocus on various targets in my studio, I noticed that the autofocus is failing to lock (AF! warning in viewfinder) on some of the same subjects that the camera never had problems with before.

I know that the camera resets to its defaults after the firmware update and I set up the camera as I had previously (single AF, corrected AF frame). I guess I will try to reinstall the firmware update. Am I missing something?

Double check you don't have power save mode on.

After an upgrade the camera has the factory default settings. You need to double check to be sure the menu options are what you assume them to be.
