My M3's spool isn't releasing the film at the end of the rewind. Any ideas?
Twist harder? Take out the film with the take-up spool? Bend with pliers the clip that holds the film on the take-up spool so it's easier to pull out when you reach the end of the roll?
Mine is a bit stubborn, and if I pull it hard enough with the rewind knob, it WILL let go.

Thanks. I've been thinking a little bit of the ol' Leatherman pliers thing. Mine was always a trifle stubborn, but now it just turns and turns, but won't let go.
Really? It sounds like the film is disconnecting in the supply can- does it NEVER increase in resistance? That post is pretty much directly connected though- no clutch, if I remember right. If something let go, the weak point would be the film...

Yeah, it looks direct to me, too. At the point when I'm accustomed to the tension increasing (preparing for the finger-hurting final twists), it just feels like it's slipping.
