Hi everyone,

Sorry for butting in with a FS announcement but I figure it may be of interest to some 690 or 670 owners in the forum and I know from personal experience that the 100mm f/3.5 AE lenses don't come-up very often and when they do you often learn about it after the fact. Hence the fore-warning :p

If you're interested, feel free to check the auction out on EB*y (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Fujica-Rangefinder-Fujinon-100mm-f-3-5-AE_W0QQitemZ7549248388QQcategoryZ15248QQrdZ1QQcmdZ ViewItem) and if you're not interested then please accept my apologies.

and cheers from Magnetic Island, Queensland.

I enjoyed the creative and thoughtful compositions in your gallery. Unfortunately, I don't have a 35mm rangie anymore since I sold my G2 and replaced it with an OM-2n which reminds me I have to put my 16mm Hologon in the 35mm classified section. Yes I found the classifieds  Don't know why I couldn't find them yesterday - duh!

Ah-hah! That must have been your G2 and kit that cycled through ebay a few times before finding a new owner. I really like your photos in the ContaxGPages, especially 'Broken' and 'New Arrival'. We'll have to get you lined up with a good rangefinder! Stay and play!

Thanks Chris,

Unfortunately, I'm already in breach of my one camera rule by a factor of two.

Just quietly, I do have a new rangefinder on the way -- albeit a 4x5

Now, who do I see about creating a large format rangefinder forum here?

A LF forum has been discussed a couple of times now as there are a few of us using 4x5. Perhaps it's time to resurrect a thread on it?

The 100/3.5 AE lens is super sharp. I can vouch for it as I have bene using one for many years. It is a great lens for fill-in flash photography outdoors. The AE balances light beautifully and the 6x9 format of course is also great.
