I was curious if anyone else does this too?

I actually attach my Gordy strap to both lug mounts on my Bessa R3A (one lug on the camera and one lug on the grip). It gives me complete confidence to just fully handle the camera (even swinging it around a little) by the strap only.

I love this setup under certain circumstances when I just want to roll with camera literally in hand...

Anyway, I just wanted to share the whole use both lugs for the one wrist strap thing for those who might find that approach appealing.

I'd prefer a wrist strap for all my cams till I need both hands for something! Typically I just wrap a standard strap around my wrist. I had a hefty wrist strap for my F1N, the solo lug was a bit of a concern. Is the Bessa dual lugged for different lens size/weight?

No, the second lug is from the accessory grip, the body has the standard arrangement of one lug per side.
