I'm about to order some light baffle material to use on a FED 5 (and several other cameras). What's the best thickness to get for most cameras -- 1 mm, 2mm or 3mm?

Check Jon Goodman's kit (http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZinterslice) on *bay. Jon's kit's have a little bit of everything that you could need and he is a heck of a nice guy to deal with.

Thanks for the tip but I really need info on the thickness so I can do it myself.

If you mean for around the top edge. Where the back meets the body. I use 1.5mm x 2mm strips from Jon's kits.

I may give it a shot with felt first. Go some at a local craft store that I'll cut to width and anchor with pliobond.
