Hi guys,

Sorry I have not posted here in a while. Gotten busy with work and other hobbies.

In any case, on another hobby site devoted to flashlights (yes, flashlights, they are neat, and the people there are as crazy about flashlights as you guys are about cameras), a person approached me about helping him price some cameras that he has. Don't worry, I don't think he stole them. In any case, he asked me about them and I had no clue, so I thought I'd post his email and see if you guys could provide some feedback and maybe an idea on how much he could get for them, and if you guys would be interested in buying anything. If so, I can put you in touch with him and you can complete the transaction on your terms.

In any case, here is what he has:

1) Nikon F2A 25 Year Anniversary Edition
2) Leica M4 50 Jahre Anniversary Edition

The Nikon is the body only. The Leica has a matching new 50 MM Summicron (blk).
He also has a few assorted Leica lenses, all usable and in good condition.

If you guys can provide some feedback and information, I would much appreciate it.

Thanks,

Pradeep

Can I send him a couple hundred bucks for the Leica? ;)

Just kidding! :)

Is that M4 black? It probably is. In any case, for that Leica 50 Jahre he can ask easily three times what a regular M4 would deliver in the market. I'm guessing some confortable USD 5K or even more, depending on shape.

As for the Nikon... Let's wait for Brian S. to post an educated guess! :D

Just kidding. Yeah, let's wait for the other Brian S.
