August 19, the day Daguerreotype went public, is considered The World Photography Day (on that day in 1839 Louis Daguerre presented, and got accepted, his process before public at a meeting of the French Academy of Science in Paris).

So, happy Photography Day RFF and many more days of happy shooting!
