I sort of like the color. The blue coat on the dog is a nice touch that gets lost in the B&W.
The bw is stronger personally.

To me the strongest part of the photo is the eyes. Color distracts from that.

B&W but the nice colors the X100 does is very close to my liking.

Just the opposite for me...the blue coat over the dog is just too blue...it takes away the rest of the picture...my eyes just settle on that blue coat...
I like the B&W...:)

I have to agree with you on this one, the color pic is so overwhelmingly blue, to the point of distraction.
Now I can see better in the B&W view, in this case ...so I vote for the B&W.

I usually prefer color but this one def goes better in B&W

my eyes keep getting drawn to the blue's..
first the sign, then the legs and then dog and then her.
but the color is really good.
