M2 Rangefinder Adjustment

Hey Brian-
I was wondering if you would know how difficult it is to adjust the rangefinder patch slightly horizontally on an M2?
Any help would be appreciated.

That's right. And you want to think not in terms of turning the slotted cam, so much as barely nudging it. It usually doesn't take much. Give it a nudge and put the lens back on. Better or worse? If worse, go the other way. If better, go a little more if needed; or back up if you went too far. I use a TV tower I can see out my office window, some 3 or 4 miles away.
