no one knows?
where's the shadow when you need him...?
Within my Mac version of PS Elements 9 the RAF file can be opened which calls ACR 6.4.1 this then plonks the image in PSE9. So the answer to your question is yes. I am running OS X Lion and Silver Efex pro 2 works fine with PSE 9 and LR3.

i have pse8 and it won't accept the acr 6.4...am looking for the cheapest way to convert the raw files...can't afford lightroom atm.
Are you running a Mac? Aperture 3 works with raf files and only costs £60 from App Store.

part of my 'problem' is i have pse down to where i like it so little or no learning curve...so lazy he is...

Can you use the latest DNG converter then import to PSE? I seem to remember this working for me when I needed to use a previous version of PSE.

I don't think it's so bad. Fire it up, pick the folder where your .RAF files are, pick an export folder and click execute. The conversion is pretty quick.

you can batch convert?
i missed that when i tried it before.
i'm going to play with aperture over the weekend, i watched all the videos on apple.ca about using aperture and i think i should be able to figure out the basics, enough to get started anyway.
purchase price is very doable for me as well.
