Following my post about the Nokton 40/1.4, I had some requests to discuss the Nokton 35/1.2.
So, I wrote a brief discussion (not a comprehensive review!):

Thanks for looking,

A nice take on a great lens, written on a very good looking blog. Thanks for sharing.
The 1.2 Nokon is the fastest lens I own, and right up there with the Zeiss 25/2.8 and CV 50/3.5 in terms of my confidence in shooing wide open with it.

Hi, thanks for your report on the VC 35/1.2, i appreciate you give an honest uncompromised opinion on the subject!
Very helpfull!!!
Looks good. You might want to check the specs you listed for it though. I don't think that the lens is 3' long. ( than the internet would have real reason to warn about the size of the lens)

Nice write-up on my favourite 35mm for its buttery smooth rendering. Here's a quick sample wide open from last night.

Thanks for having a look everybody, and thanks for pointing out the typo Chris! I just corrected it. That was pretty hilarious though.

Nice - I'm not surprised it's your favourite lens.

I do love it Peter! While the Summilux is a great lens with perfect ergonomics, and i used it for years, I fell in love with the Nokton immediately and used it ever since. Sometimes though, I miss the Summilux for its size, weight and focus tab, especially for street shooting and using the tab to estimate focus on the fly. I'm excited to see what the new Nokton will bring.

Nice review!
I did a review as well (http://lavidaleica.com/content/voigtl%C3%A4nder-1235-nokton) not that long ago.
Thank you, and nice review by the way.
Peter.
