Using a Leica M6TTL, Hexanon 35/2 and a B & W dark yellow filter. I bracketed every shot and the results turned out to show the meter was right (over and under shots aren't that pretty). The Konica lens has the focusing mark for IR film.

EIR was rated at ISO 200, loaded in the dark. Most of these shots were done at 1/60, and an aperture of f8 (at the very least) during a very sunny day, at around 11 AM. Hence some vertical shadows...

Such intense color. I've always wondered about this film. Nice results.

Nice shots! I'm going to have to try some color IR in addition to the digital IR camera this fall.

Interestingly enough... Ben, my cat, didn't turn up any stranger than a washed out brownish blob in what seems a sea of red cabbage. I'd like to read up a bit more about this film. Not how to use it, but rather about the nature of the light it captures.

Thanks for the comments! :)

Here is the page from Kodak describing Ektachrome IR. It goes into an explanation of band response and color formation.

For some reason, I knew you, Brian, would come with the technical information.

Thanks a lot! :)

Fransisco,
Like your examples! Who did the processing? Here's a huge PAGE OF IR INFO (http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/mainpage.htm) that has kept me busy reading for some time now.
Hope to see some more of these!
