did some reading and these look pretty good...just bought a 2 for 1 package deal, 8 gb each.
They are among the best. Very few memory cards are actually as fast as they claim these days. The SanDisk ones seem to be better than the others in my experience, and are often very close to their rated speeds.

Yup. That's why I prefer to buy cards locally. I always seem to find better deals on cards locally than online. I have a couple of SD pro cards in my Amazon cart, but I just haven't pulled the trigger. Don't anyone tell Fuji, but I'm running a Kingston 4GB card in my X100 right now.

I've been OK with writing speed of Jpeg on X100, but feeling RAW writing can be better. Currently I'm using whatever cheap cards I have in my digital bits drawer.
Looks like SanDisk Extreme (UHS?) is getting good reports coupled with X100 on other forums. A Google search got me someone saying "(with SanDisk UHC) X100 felt like a completely different camera." Can anyone confirm speed increase with SanDisk's good cards, particularly for RAW shooting? Is it worth (I know it's subjective) extra $50 compared to other Class 10 cards?

I'm using the new 45MBPS cards... They write much faster then the class 10.
They also transfer faster.
I got the 8GB for $34.99 per on the Bay...

Thanks guys. Sounds like it's worth a try!
Looks like Amazon has 8GB for $35.95, 16GB for $68.50. That ain't too bad.
Yep, I bought a pair of Sandisk Extreme 8G cards, the ones with a "10)" in a circle, and marked 30MB/s for my M8.2. I'm pleased with them, no complaints!

Don't forget to only and always format the card in-camera to insure maximum write speed.

Just picked up the Sandisk "pro" 16gb ufs-1 for $52.99 on sale at bestbuy!

The X100 manual only mentions cards up to 8gb. Can the X100 handle 16gb or 32gb cards? Or is that overkill anyhow?
