Olympus's new mockup for a fast prime looks to similar to the 50/2 rigid Heliar

I don't think it looks anything like it. Except for it being silver. It does not look like a collapsible lens. It has Knurls and no focus tab.The finish is a different texture. It looks like it might come with a really nice built in hood! Maybe not, could just be where the barrel extends during focus. Sign me up if the price is right. (probably even if the price is wrong)

I agree that the styling is a nod to older prime lenses. Let's hope it's not another boring 50mm (in 35mm term) lens. 35mm would be nice, though.

The nickel Heliar is not collapsible.
It's not identical, but it bare some resemblance.
Yeah I agree, it looks like a weird modern take of a collapsible lens... I really hope it's a good lens, and a good focal length too..
