Can someone give me a little guidance with reguard to using D-76 with Neopan 100
? And my second question , is there a shelf live on unopened cans of Diafine ? I've had a unopened box, or cans, lying around for some time, years, and there is no date on the package. Any experiences would be appreciated.
ummmmm..Neopan 100 SS or Neopan 100 Acros?
there's a big difference......
Ok, so now I've had a little time to look up a couple of references......
Personally, I have used Neopan 100SS in ID-11 - which is *supposed* to be a D76 clone, but then some opinions are that it's not. FWIW, I use stock ID-11 at 20 deg c for 5 min 30 sec and it comes out beautifully.
Somewhere I have the data sheet for Neopan 100 SS but of course I can't find it. :( The data sheet for Neopan 100 Acros is here : http://www.fujifilm.com/JSP/fuji/epartners/bin/NeopanAcros100.pdf
And the Massive dev chart here: http://www.digitaltruth.com/devchart.html is always a good starting point for many combinations.
As to the question on Diafine shelf life? No idea....... :D
cheers....

Thanks, for the reply, and the links. Its Neopan 100 ss, I've only got a few rolls and I use D-76 for almost everything.
ahhhh....found the 100 SS datasheet: http://fujifilm.jp/support/pdf/filmandcamera/datasheet/ff_neopanss135_001e.pdf
Yeh, I tend to use ID-11 for most things. It's cheap, it works, and above all it's available......
